Crompton increases prices-for rubber chemicals, EPDM
Middlebury, Connecticut-Crompton Corp. is increasing prices of its rubber chemicals and its EPDM products, The rubber chemicals price increases takes effect from 1 Jan, or as contracts allow, Crompton said.
These increases add to those announced in autumn 2004, when customers were notified of a capacity reduction in Flexzone products, Crompton continued.
The 2005 increase will incorporate and replace the existing benzene surcharge, as follows:

Prices of Royalene EPDM will go up 20 Dec or as contracts allow, Crompton said. Crompton previously increased EPDM prices in the spring, summer, and autumn of 2004.
