Lanxess reports earnings, increased sales for '04
Leverkusen, Germany --Lanxess AG reported solid earnings and improved sales for 2004, according to preliminary, unaudited figures.
Lanxess, the polymers and chemicals business spun off by Bayer AG, reported operating earnings of $73.3 million on sales of $8400 million vs. a pro-forma loss of about $1.5 million and sales of $7700 million in 2003.
