Trelleborg names Bo Jacobsson as first executive vice president 

Trelleborg, Sweden -- Trelleborg's management board has unanimously appointed chief financial officer Bo Jacobsson to the post of first executive vice president of the Trelleborg Group. The new appointment will become effective on October 1, 2005 at the same time Peter Nilsson assumes the position of new president and chief executive officer of the Trelleborg Group.

"With his broad experience of management and administration in major companies, and the in-depth knowledge he has acquired of the Trelleborg Group over many years, Bo is a vital sounding-board for us all within Group Management," said Nilsson.

George Caplea, president of Trelleborg's automotive business area has been executive vice president of the Group for several years and will remain in this position, said the company.
