Many new car statistics available from ACEA

Brussels -- ACEA, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association has updated its website with a host of new statistics that can be downloaded as spreadsheets.

The statistics can be read in multi-page Excel files* and are as folllows:

1. Historical series: 1990-2005: New PC registrations by manufacturer
2. Historical series: 1990-2005: New PC registrations by country
3. Year 2005 by country and by vehicle category (Enlarged Europe)
4. Year 2004 by country and by vehicle category (Enlarged Europe)
5. Year 2004 by manufacturer and by vehicle category
6. Year 2005 by manufacturer and by vehicle category

* Note, the files on the ACEA website do not have a file extension signifier on them, and users may need to append the .XLS designator to make the files readable on a computer.
