Manufacturer of prosthetic testes wins Ig Nobel award
Cambridge, Massachusetts -- The annual Ig Nobel awards celebrate the opposite of scientific genius, and in the 2005 awards, silicone rubber is featured with the Neuticle product line
According to the Ig Nobel website, this year's Ig Nobel for medicine was awarded to "Gregg A. Miller of Oak Grove, Missouri, for inventing Neuticles -- artificial replacement testicles for dogs, which are available in three sizes, and three degrees of firmness."
