Pirelli raises tyre prices around world

Milan,Italy -- Pirelli is increasing tyre prices by 4.5 percent in Europe and North America for car, SUV and commercial vehicle tyres, and all Group brands. Motorcycle tyres will increase by 6 percent throughout the world.

The company blamed the increase -- effective from December -- on the continuing cost increase of energy and key raw materials.
