Milan, Italy-Pirelli SpA is raising tire prices for car, light truck/sports utility vehicle and truck tyres 4.5 percent in Europe and North America and 6 percent for motorcycle tires worldwide.
Pirelli did not say when the new prices take effect.
The tyre maker cited the continuing cost increases for key raw materials and energy for its action.
Pirelli last raised prices in North America 1 June, boosting them for passenger and light truck/SUV tyres by 5 percent.
