Middlebury, Connecticut -- Chemtura Corp. is increasing prices by about 45 percent for the neat portion of its aluminum alkyl products, effective Nov. 15 or as contracts allow.
Chemtura produces inhibitors, catalysts components and performance and processing aids applied in production and processing of a diverse range of polymers. The company is Europe´s largest manufacturer of aluminum alkyls used as catalyst components for polyolefin and synthetic rubber production, Chemtura said.
