Rapra organises rubber bonding event for Düsseldorf, Feb 21-22
Düsseldorf, Germany -- Rapra Technology Ltd has announced dates of the 5th International Conference on Rubber Bonding. it will be held at the Holiday Inn, City Centre, Düsseldorf, Germany, from 21-22 February 2006.
Rapra's statement says, "The conference starts with a session on rubber to metal bonding with an overview by R Del Vecchio on comparisons between eight different types of rubber." The keynote address on tyre cord bonding is from Dr William van Ooij
it continues, "Automotive applications of rubber bonding are a key feature of the conference. Henkel and Polycil are giving papers on bonding of anti-vibration systems. Boss Rubber Technologies have been working on PSAs for applications such as bonding TPE weatherstrip. Chris Stevens of NGF has worked on improving rubber to glass cord bonding for automotive applications such as timing belts and EPDM weatherstrip sealing profiles. Rhodia Silicones will be discussing automotive adhesives.
