Hankook publishes Q3 results

Seoul, Korea -- Hankook Tire has published its results for the three months to September, 2005. The company increased Q3 sales to SKW487 787 million (Euro 393 million) from SKW455 841 million. Sales for the nine months to September grew to 1487 billion (Euro 1199 million) from 1368 billion.

Operating profit for the three-month period fell to Won 55 126 million (Euro 44.4 million), down from 62 031 million, while net profit grew 16 percent, to 52 955 million, compared with 45 690 million.

In the nine months, operating profit remained stable, at Won 194 billion, while net profit increased 14 percent, to 167 379 million (Euro 135 million).
