Brussels -- Bridgestone Retread Systems s.a./n.v. (BSRS), a subsidiary of Brussels-based Bridgestone Europe, went online in October 2005 with a comprehensive new website, completing another step in its European expansion plan for retread truck tyres.

In a statement, Bridgestone said, "The website is designed to provide road transport operators with complete information on Bridgestone Retread Systems and how its Qualitread product can provide them with a superior retread tyre that replicates the features and performance of a new Bridgestone tyre. It sets out the product advantages, as well as the manufacturing process and technologies involved, presenting clearly the safety, environmental and economic benefits."
The company has two web addresses: boh lead to the Qualitread site.
Available now in English, German and French, the site will be extended progressively to include other major European languages, supporting Bridgestone's aim to provide fleet operators with full-package fleet management services across Europe.
