Rubber, latex world summit postponed
Bangkok, Thailand -- The Rubber & Latex World Summit scheduled for held Dec. 14-17 has been rescheduled for July 26-29 at Impact Muang Thong Thani Convention Center in Bangkok.
"Unfortunately, we were informed on Nov. 9 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to postpone this event because of administrative problems," said Pratum Vongpanish, managing director of Rubber Pro Co. Ltd., in a letter to those presenting papers at the event. The Thailand Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives is hosting the event and Rubber Pro is organising the convention.
The summit's Web site also will be changed to www.rubberandlatexworldsummit2006.com by the end of November, she said. The convention is expected to deal with global issues facing the rubber industry.
