Chinese Ministry posts EPDM anti-dumping measures
Beijing -- China's Ministry of Commerce has issued a preliminary finding confirming that certain companies were guilty of dumping EPDM rubber into Chinese markets. The MoC claims that this caused injury to domestic producers of the material.
The Ministry has therefore imposed the following import duties, effective immediately:
1. DuPont Dow Elastomers L.L.C. 39 %
2. LANXESS Corporation 43 %
3. Exxon Mobil Corporation 3%
4. KUMHO POLYCHEM CO., LTD. 11%
5. All Others (from US, Korea and Netherlands) 43%
The Ministry added, "All interested parties may submit comments in written form with relevant evidences to Ministry of Commerce in 20 days for consideration as from release of this announcement."
