Nizhnekamskshina picks Pomini mixers for silica compounds
Castellanza, Italy -- Nizhnekamskshina (NKS), the Tartarstan tyre maker, has picked Techint-Pomini to supply mixers and extruders for two new mixing lines.
NKS is adding capacity for passenger car tyres and has acquired silica technology from an unidentified western tyre maker, said Techint-Pomini. Techint-Pomini is supplying a variable clearance mixer, VIC345 with twin dump extruder TDE11 for the masterbatch line. In addition, said Techint-Pomini, it is supplying a 270-litre tangential mixer for the final mixing line, and drawings and engineering support in conjunction with other suppliers.
In a statement, Pomini said Techint-Pomini is combining state-of-the-art mixers with its extensive experience to deliver complete mixing rooms that will allow Nizhnekamskshina to lead innovation in high performance tyres within the growing Russian market.
