Michelin US launches winter tyres in PAX fitments

Greenville, South Carolina -- Michelin North America Inc. has added three new X-Ice Pax system winter tyres that can be operated after a puncture for as many as 125 miles at speeds up to 50 mph / 80 kph.

The Michelin X-Ice Pax System 225-700R480A, X-Ice Pax System 245-680R460A and Michelin X-Ice Pax System 235-710R460A tyres are available now for the Nissan Quest, the Acura RL and the Honda Odyssey Touring Edition, respectively, the Greenville-based tyre maker said.

Each of the tyres will be available as a tyre that can be mounted on an existing Pax System assembly at authorised Michelin Pax dealers. The new tyres also will be available as part of a complete replacement Pax system assembly -- which includes the tyre pressure sensor, gel, support ring and wheel -- at Acura, Honda, Nissan and Michelin dealers in the US.
