UK Tyre Shredder fined for operating without licence
Lancaster, UK -- A Lancashire tyre shredding company was fined £2500 (Euro 3700) on Friday at Lancaster Magistrates' Court for failing to comply with the conditions of a waste management licence and operating without a waste management licence during a period of suspension.
Tyreshredder.com, of Heysham Business Park, was also ordered to pay £2,500 costs to the Environment Agency, which brought the prosecution, and its director, Steven Dyer, was given a conditional discharge.
