Liquid Rubber roofing comes to UK
Nottingham, UK -- Liquid Rubber GB, based in Nottingham has won the rights to sell the Liquid Rubber product in the UK. Liquid Rubber is made by US-based Lafarge.
The company claims Liquid Rubber, "is a unique, water-based, cold applied membrane that is like no other in that there are no flames or heat whatsoever involved in its application. The technology behind the product represents a major advantage over all previous coatings."
According to a press release, "Liquid Rubber boasts a multitude of uses both for industrial and home use. It is used extensively in the construction and marine industry, the roofing market and the maintenance of ponds and lakes. In fact its applications are ideal for any
type of containment and benefits all involved in the industry from architects to specifiers to final installation. Liquid Rubber has been employed in a number of high profile contracts. It is currently being used to great praise on the Orange County Water Treatment Facility in Los Angeles: a $300,000,000 infrastructure project measuring some 186,000 sq ft and the largest of its kind underway in the US."
