Grefen steps down from top job at Hexagon Polymers Compounding
Eupen, Belgium-Joachim Grefen, who set up rubber compounding group GFD Technology GmbH in Hückelhoven-Baal, near Aachen, Germany, in 1997, is to retire from his current role as president & ceo of Hexagon Polymers Compounding at the end of this year.
"After about 27 years of activity in the rubber sector, I decided to reduce my workload in the coming years," Grefen said in an email to customers. "At Hexagon's request, I will stay available for the company as a personal consultant in strategic questions," within Heaxagon Polymers for the next four year, Grefen added.
All other management activities of Hexagon's Euro 160-million turnover compounding group will be taken over by Lars Olofsson, president of Hexagon Polymers, from 1 Jan 2006.
