Brussels -- BLIC, the European Association of the Rubber Industry has published a large PDF document noting various developments within the European Parliament and European Commission. The 3.2 MB document (click below to download) gives some detail on the latest REACH deal agreed in Brussels in November, and reaction to it from parliamentarians and others.
The document is comprised of clippings from other publications, notably Europe Information and Environment Daily.
Other matters noted in the document, titled "BLIC Informs" are the Austrian presidency of the EU from Jan to June 2006 and how it is likely to affect integration of Balkan countries; a note on the EC fine on Bayer, Chemtura and general Quimica and Flexsys for price fixing and Energy efficiency issues.
