Michelin raises tyre prices in Europe
Paris - Michelin is raising tyre prices in Europe once more, and for the same reason: higher raw material prices.
The company said prices for construction equipment tyres rose by 6 percent in December.
During the first half of 2006 the company will increases prices on car and light truck tyres by up to 3.5 percent. For heavy truck and agricultural tyres the increase will be up to 4 percent, also due to be imposed in the first half.
