London -The International Rubber Study Group (IRSG) has said its 42nd Assembly of Nations will be held at the Grand Plaza Parkroyal in Kuala Lumpur on 26-28 April 2006. The Government of Malaysia has offered to act as host for the event.
This will be preceded by the World Rubber Summit 24-25 April 2006. The theme for the World Rubber Summit is Global supply and demand challenges: Developing strategies for the future. This event should not be confused with the commercial event known as The Rubber & Latex World Summit 2006, scheduled for Bangkok in July.
A field trip has also been planned for 28 April 2006.
Provisional programmes of the 42nd Assembly of Nation and the World Rubber Summit will be available on the IRSG website shortly, said the organisation.
