Amtel aims to raise Euro100m through credit notes
Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Amtel-Vredestein NV plans to issue credit linked notes (CLN) for 100 million Euros during the first quarter of 2006. Amtel said The proceeds will be used to finance the company's retail expansion and to refinance debt.
The term of the security will be 4 years with a 2-year put option. The coupon will be paid twice yearly. The issue lead manager is Alfa-Bank, Russia.
