Goodyear names Hopkins to new VP position
Akron, Ohio - Goodyear has named William Hopkins to the new position of vice president, technology and strategic initiatives.
Hopkins formerly served as vice president of global product marketing and technology planning. In his new role, he will be responsible for global strategic initiatives, tyre engineering, materials, performance prediction and global vehicle systems.
He will report to Joseph Gingo, executive vice president of quality systems and chief technology officer.
"Bill has played a key role in bringing technology and marketing together to deliver outstanding new products and technologies to market that consumers desire," Gingo said in a statement.
