Amtel names new director of Voronezh
Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Amtel-Vredestein has appointed Victor Tuluk to the post of general director of Amtel-Chernozemye tyre production facility in Voronezh. He replaces Vyacheslav Chemerinsky.
Tuluk was most recently the general director of Amtel-Sibir, the tyre complex in Krasnoyarsk which Amtel-Vredestein sold in January. He is a tyre industry veteran and former first deputy general director of Amtel-Chernozemye. Victor knows our business as well as anyone in our industry. He is the perfect candidate to supervise our Voronoezh-II project and manage our on-going cost-cutting and efficiency programs at Amtel-Chernozemye,†said Amtel-Vredestein ceo, Alexei Gurin.
Voronezh-II is a new production line under construction at the Amtel-Chernozemye complex. It is being completed under the guidance of engineers from the Amtel-Vredestein's Dutch subsidiary. It will produce the company's flagship Vredestein brand for distribution throughout the CIS and Europe.
Chemerinsky, who leaves the company to pursue other interests, will remain a member of the board of directors at Amtel-Chernozemye. He is also a deputy of the Voronezh Duma (regional parliament). Vyachelsav has expertly managed the arduous task of bringing our Voronezh facility into the 21st century. We are grateful he will remain on the plant's board,†said Gurin.
