Michelin will not show a single tyre at Geneva on press days

Paris - Michelin has sent out emails to journalists inviting them to the Michelin stand at the Geneva Auto Salon. Intriguingly, the invite says "Pour la première fois, le leader mondial du pneumatique n'exposera aucun pneu sur son stand* !" -- For the first time the world leader in tyres will not show a single tyre on its stand*

Michelin qualifies this claim by saying it applies only to press days: 28 Feb and 1 March.

The Geneva Auto Salon is open to the public and trade from March 2 - 12 in the Palexpo next to Geneva airport.
