Lanxess lifts Force Majeure declaration at Sarnia's butyl unit
Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess said it has lifted the force majeure declaration on the production of butyl rubber at its site in Sarnia, Canada. The company said it is now receiving raw materials supplies from Nova Chemicals (Canada) ltd, which had previously enforced its own force majeure notice when it was unable to supply raw materials including isobutylene.
