Gurin to speak at Russian Economic Forum in London
London - Alexei Gurin, ceo of Amtel-Vredestein (AV), has confirmed he will speak at the 2006 Russian Economic Forum in London, being held from 23-25 April 2006. Headquartered in Moscow, AV is currently involved in a major expansion programme aiming to become one of the key suppliers of car tyres to the fast-developing Russian market.
Originally based in Russia, the company's operations were expanded beyond the CIS in 2005 when it acquired Vredestein Banden B.V. (Vredestein), a premium Dutch tyre manufacturer since 1946. The acquisition of Vredestein represented a groundbreaking foreign investment for a Russian company.
