Techint-Pomini to deliver VIC-based mixing line to Nizhnekamsk
Castellanza, Italy - Techint Pomini will soon deliver to Nizhnekamskshina tyre plant a VIC-based mixing line for masterbatch production and a more conventional mixing line for final mix. The technology is designed for high-silica compounds for use in the tyre building process at Nizhnekamsk.
Nizhenekamskshina, based in Tatarstan, Russia, has a 28 percent of tyre market share in Russia. The company uses technology licenced from Pirelli to make its tyres and continues to obtain technical support from Pirelli.
Techint-Pomini said the order includes a Variable Intermeshing Clearance VIC345 mixer and twin dump extruder for masterbatch line. In addition, the company is supplying one 270 litre capacity tangential mixer for final mixing. The contract also includes detailed engineering for both mixing lines in coordination with the pool of other selected suppliers.
