Santoprene used on range of garden tools
Akron, Ohio - A range of garden tools uses handles made from Santoprene moulded over a polypropylene base, according to ExxonMobil, owner of the Santoprene product line. Santoprene is the original material developed as a thermoplastic vulcanisate (TPV) In which particles of EPDM are cured within a matrix of polypropylene.
