Sinopec made 626 kt of SR in 2005

Beijing - Sinopec, China's national petrochemicals company has reported its figures for 2005. The company said it increased production of synthetic rubber materials by over 11 percent in 2005, compared with 2004. The company made 626 kt of SR in 2005, compared to 561 kt in 2004 and 553 kt in 2003.

Overall the company made a net profit of RMB 39 558 million (Euro 4000 million) on sales of RMB 799 115 million (Euro 81 000 million). In 2004 the equivalent figures were net profit of RMB 32 275 million on sales of RMB 590 632 million.
