Trelleborg completes Mehren Rubber acquisition

Stockholm, Sweden - Trelleborg's acquisition of Mehren Rubber A/S through its Engineered Systems business area has now been completed. The company has annual sales of about SEK 65 M (Euro 7 million), approximately 30 employees and is located in Sande (20 km south of Drammen), Norway.

Mehren Rubber is a niche-oriented contract producer of down-hole packers (oil/gas extraction equipment for sealing the area between the tubing and the wall of the wellbore).
