Huber to hike prices for kaolin clay line
Atlanta, Georgia -- J.M. Huber Corp.'s Huber Engineered Materials unit will raise prices for its North American industrial specialties kaolin clay portfolio on 1 Oct, or as current contracts allow.
The firm said many of the prices would increase "significantly", depending on the product grade, volume and form.
It did not, however, reveal exactly how much prices would climb.
Huber said the hikes were needed to offset rising raw materials, energy, transportation and other costs.
