China reduces import tariff on Russian SBR
Beijing - China's Ministry of Commerce (MofCom) on Tuesday announced a mid-term anti-dumping examination result concerning two Russian companies that export styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) to China.
The duty on SBR imported from Togliatti Kauchuk Ltd. falls to 6.81 percent, from 25 percent For Voronezhsintezkauchuk, the rate falls to 4.02 percent, from 38 percent.
China decided to levy an anti-dumping tax on imported SBR from Russia, the Republic of Korea and Japan in September 2003. The mid-term examination was started following an application by the two Russian companies to reconsider the anti-dumping duty rate because of changed circumstances.
