Apollo aims to raise €62 m in share issue
Gurgaon, India - Apollo Tyres Ltd will try to raise 3650 million rupees (€62 million) through a share issue to preferential shareholders and institutional buyers.
“This option allows the company to access the capital markets through a simpler and quicker process,†a company statement said.
The Indian tyre maker's board also formed a committee of directors and managers to implement the sale of Apollo's tube manufacturing facility in Pune, which was first approved by shareholders in Nov, 2005.
