Bridgestone's tyres get OEM approval for Volvo's trucks

Nashville, Tennessee - Volvo Group subsidiaries Mack Trucks Inc. and Volvo Truck North American Inc. have approved Bridgestone-branded tyres as standard equipment on its lorries, effective on 1 Oct.

Singh Ahluwalia, president of commercial products at Bridgestone Corp's US arm, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire LLC, said Mack “has a reputation for building rugged, heavy-duty vehicles for more than a century. And we look forward to helping Mack customers get the job done - and done well - on Bridgestone tyres.”

Volvo Group is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
