Lanxess to open rubber research centre in Qingdao
Leverkusen, Germany -- Lanxess AG has decided to open a research centre for rubber on the campus of Qingdao University of Science and Technology in Qingdao, China.
The centre is expected to be operational from 2008 and is destined to innovate for the Asian market.It will do fundamental research and provide support for the Asian region
In announcing the plans, Lanxess declined to give a figure for investment or for employment numbers at the site, but said it is a substantial project.
