Eliokem to raise price for Wingstay phenolic antioxidant

Villejust, France - Speciality chemical maker Eliokem will raise the price of its phenolic antioxidant Wingstay by up to 15 percent.

The price of Wingstay grades L, S and T - used in natural latex, elastomers and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) - will go up on 15 Oct.

“This decision is driven by the ongoing escalation in raw material prices, energy, transportation and compliance costs which have contributed to a general deterioration in profitability that, despite efficiency improvements, can no longer be absorbed,” the French company said in a statement.
