BASF lifts price of styrene-butadiene latex for the carpet industry in N. America
Charlotte, North Carolina -- BASF AG has raised the North American price of its Styrofan carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer products used in the carpet industry.
The increase of $0.04 per dry pound took effect on 18 Sep in the US and Canada.
"This action is being taken as a result of increased energy, raw material and transportation costs," the company said.
