Kosmos Cement to use scrap tyres for fuel
Louisville, Kentucky -- Kosmos Cement Co., a subsidiary of Mexican cement giant CEMEX SA de CV, is considering using scrap tyres as fuel at its Louisville plant.
The preliminary plan would involve burning 1 to 1.2 million scrap tyres annually.
