SI Group lifts phenolic resin prices

Schenectady, New York - SI Group Inc will lift its prices for all phenolic resin grades by between $0.07 and $0.14 per pound on 17 Oct.

“The adjustment is primarily due to the highest benzene price all year which drives the price pf phenol along with the methanol price index which drives formaldehyde pricing,” a statement from SI said.
