Diolen Industrial Fibers names new CEO
Arnhem, Netherlands - Polyester yarn maker Diolen Industrial Fibers has appointed Eric Tierie as chief executive and general manager and has announced a production capacity expansion at its facility in Emmen, Netherlands.
Tierie, who currently holds a management position at Mittal Steel, will replace Jan Michiels, who will leave on 1 Dec.
The Dutch firm will modernise machinery at the Emmen plant and plans to expand production by 2 500 tonnes.
Wouter Waleson, former general committee member of FNV Bondgenoten, Netherland's largest union federation, has also been appointed to the board of management of Diolen Europe Investment BV.
