Pirelli promotes three to vice president posts
Rome, Georgia -- Pirelli Tire North America Inc. has promoted
three executives to vice president in recognition of their work in
growing the Rome-based company.
Named vice presidents were Steve Carpino
for research and development and product development, John Hagan for
original equipment and Andrew Kearton for manufacturing.
Carpino joined the old Armstrong Rubber
Co.--later bought by Pirelli--in 1983 as manager of process technology.
After serving in various roles, he was named director of research and
development in 2002.
Hagan joined Pirelli in 1989, serving in various financial roles. In 1998 he was named director of original equipment sales.
Kearton joined Pirelli in 1984 and has
spent his career in operations. He was in charge of construction of
Pirelli´s Modular Integrated Robotized System plant in Rome and served
as its director of manufacturing.
