Torekov, Sweden -- Nolato AB has agreed to purchase Medical
Rubber, a Swedish maker of silicone and thermoplastic elastomer medical
components.
The $22 million deal will give Nolato an
operation based in Horby, Sweden, that has about 100 employees and is
expected to post sales of about $13.7 million this year, Nolato said.
The firm is acquiring Medical Rubber from the Persson family, which
founded the company in 1973.
About half of Medical Rubber's production is exported, Nolato said.
