Precise and finer winding promised
Roche la Molière , France-French winding technology specialist, Calemard has launched Gemini II, a spooling machine which it claims is precise and offers finer winding.
Designed for narrow and fragile products, this machine uses a numerical traverse winder, driven by a new generation of PLC, allowing individual control of each spooling unit.
In a press statement Calemard said that a wide range of products can be handled on the same machine. New traverse winding technology also helps.
“Adhesives, foams, films, nonwovens, etc., in various thicknesses and widths, could be spooled in different dimensions (400 x 400 mm maximum)â€, said the company in “various winding patterns (level wound, taper wound, reverse taper wound, magnum wound).â€
