Kraton's revenues improve despite volume drop in Q3
Houston, Texas - Kraton Polymers LLC's sales revenues for the three months to 30 Sept., 2006 were $288 million compared to $276 million in the comparable period of 2005, an increase of 4 percent. This improvement was driven by increased average prices offsetting a 4 percent volume decline. Gross profit in the period rose to $11.6 million, from $3.38 million a year earlier.
For the nine months to September, net income rose to $24.5 million from $21.5 million in the same period a year earlier. Total revenues in the nine months increased 7 percent to $803 million.
