Flexsys' 4-ADPA and 6PPD patents are ruled valid in Korea

Brussels - Flexsys America L.P. says the Korean Patent Court, the only Korean court that can rule on patent validity issues, has sustained the validity of its 4-ADPA and 6PPD technology against a challenge brought by Sinorgchem Co., Shandong.

“Obviously, we are very pleased with the Court's action,” said Wolter Kymmell, General Counsel. “This reinforces the findings by the US International Trade Commission and the Europe Patent Office that Flexsys' patent is valid.”

“This puts us in an excellent position to continue our patent infringement action in Korea with respect to Sinorgchem's 4-ADPA or downstream PPD products,” said Donald Fields, Worldwide Antidegradants Technology Manager.
