Nokian opens mixing department at Russian tyre plant
INokia, Finland -Â Nokian Tyres has opened the mixing and warehouse departments at its tyre plant in Vsevolozhsk, Russia. This represents the second stage of the factory, which began making tyres in the second half of 2005.
The start-up and test-run of the first mixing line at the new department was performed in September and the second line is now being installed. The new mixing department enables the company to produce rubber compounds for the tyre production locally in Russia and end the deliveries from the Nokia factory in Finland.
