London - Bridgestone UK has announced a range of run-flat tyres for luxury sport-utility vehicles. The tyres in 50- and 45- series for 19-inch rims, are part of the company's Dueler H/P Sport range.
The RFT version of the tyre features reinforced side walls that allow vehicles to be driven safely after suffering a loss of pressure, said Bridgestone.
“The Dueler H/P Sport RFT is arguably our most technology-advanced run-flat tyre to date given the larger size of SUV rims, and is a direct response to the growing popularity of run-flat tyre technology in both the original equipment and replacement markets," said Andy Lane, marketing manager of Bridgestone UK.
