Rosehill Polymers wins Australian order for recycled rail panels
Sowerby Bridge, UK - Rosehill Polymers of Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, has won a contract to supply their HoldFast panels to Western Australia following previous successful contracts in Victoria and elsewhere.
Sales and Marketing Manager Stuart Wilson explained, 'In Australia, for example, there are three different rail gauges with many sleeper types, rails and fasteners but our manufacturing methods enable us to adapt moulds to suit any permutation. Speed of installation is second only to safety for rail companies as rail closures are expensive and two men can install up to15m of HoldFast rubber panels in an hour, which is much quicker than competitive products.'
