Wennemer wins ADAC's 'Yellow Angel'
Stuttgart, Germany - ADAC, the influential German motoring club, has awarded Continental's CEO, Manfred Wennemer the 'Yellow Angel" (gelber Engel) for personality of the year. The awards are made annually by the ADAC for outstanding performance, and are highly sought-after in the European automotive industry.
Wennemer became head of ContiTech in 1998 and rose to the top position at Conti in 2001. The company has seen strong rises in its share price since then and has been one of the best performing on the German stock exchange.
